A Long Island native, Calliope pursued her passion for performance by enrolling in the Musical Theater program at Five Towns College on a scholarship, where she studied under David Krasner and Jennifer Barsamian from 2018 to 2019. This rigorous training instilled in her a profound understanding of storytelling and emotional expression, elements that permeate her music.
Backed by her formidable band, The Muses—a trio embodying the raw essence of bass, drums, and guitar—Calliope delivers performances that are both ethereal and electrifying. Together, they have graced stages across notable venues, including Spotlight: At The Paramount, The Bitter End, Jones Beach Bandshell, the Rainbow Chapin Stage in Huntington, and the Montauk Music Festival, captivating audiences with their dynamic presence and sonic depth.
