About

Businessmen, musicians and friends Guy Brogna and Rick Eberle began the company in 2017, taking their mutual love for music and time spent as professional musicians (Scatterbrain, and Iridesense, respectively), and the business acumen they obtained through decades in sales, marketing and promotion – Guy with All Music Inc and Rick with Magnetic Vine PR, to create G&R Events, which has become the go-to artist booking agency on Long Island for venues/municipalities and artists alike, bringing top level acts in all genres to the masses.

We curate the Jones Beach Bandshell Summer Concert Series for New York State Parks, book several special shows at Eisenhower Park Lakeside Theater with Nassau County Parks each season, and regularly bring in acts to spots like The Argyle Theater, Adventureland, Baja Boathouse, NY Beach Club, Bellmore Movies and The Showplace, DOX, Gold Coast Arts Center, HONU, Long Beach Film Festival, Merrick Festival, Patchogue Theater, The Plaza Cinema & Media Arts Center, Salute, The Theater at Westbury, Simon Malls and countless others year round.

Meet The Team

Guy Brogna

Founder / NY, NJ, CT, PA, MA Bookings

Guy started out as a bass player at the age of seventeen and went right into performing music around Long Island. With a non-stop passion for music, he performed with many different acts, in all genres of music to build up his resume.

By the time Guy was twenty two, he was a professional recording and touring musician and successfully pursued this career from 1985-1995. During this time, Guy was part of two national acts – Ludichrist and Scatterbrain. They recorded three albums and released multiple videos as well as toured the nation, Europe and Australia as headliners and opening acts for The Ramones, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Smashing Pumpkins and many more. Guy’s band Scatterbrain was also hired to be on a major film and soundtrack for Pauly Shore’s “Encino Man” contributing their funked up cover of LL Cool J’s, Mama Said Knock You Out.

After coming off the road, Guy started a full-service landscape company and a used car lot, that he grew successfully for almost 8 years. He sold these businesses around 2003 and became a managing partner in a local music store, All Music Inc., where he has continued to grow the company and operate on location on a daily basis for the last twenty years. During this time, Guy also started a successful music school called “Rock and Roll University” which cultivated young students into performers within very short periods of time. Quite a few of their students have gone on to great things in the music business, including world renowned young guitar virtuoso “Taz” and others have also been highly successful in both live performance and other music-related businesses.

Guy is also an active partner in “Occupational Octaves Piano” program/publishing. He was instrumental in starting up from the ground floor. They have provided a music program for special needs students that has made learning the piano much more attainable to a group of individuals who may struggle to do most things we take for granted. They have recently brought this program into several assisted living communities on Long Island such as, The Bristal.

All while building the All Music Inc. business, Guy kept his hands in the performance side of music. Guy has recently been hired to play for several week long camps at the Glen Cove Mansion for both guitar virtuosos, Steve Vai and Paul Gilbert. Guy continues to play shows with his original bands a few times a year as his bands still have a following from 30+ years ago. He has also been hired to provide sound for major acts in small settings for Cox Media Group and Connoisseur Media.

In 2017, Guy started the company, G&R Events. He had successfully run the Jones Beach Bandshell since their inception as well as Nassau County Parks and has branched out to be part of many other shows, festivals and events around the NY area. This G&R Events is now bringing Long Island bands outside of NY to theaters in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Connecticut, Maryland and is continuing to expand.
